Local products, farms which offer accommodation and farm visits
The “arbre à pain” or chestnut tree is there to be discovered—its nuts and their different uses: flour, jams, etc. Agriculture has shaped part of the landscape, and offers splendid delights for the palate such as mountain honey, local pork products, Cévennes goat’s cheese, organic lamb, Mont Lozère beef. Les vendredis des fermes: on Fridays there is open house all summer at local farms. For a special family outing, discover traditional rural life and see the sources of all the good things you have been eating. Information: Office de Tourisme 04 66 45 81 94.
